The reason
Why connect Stripe to DigiData?
Connect a live Stripe account, test mode or sandbox through the public DigiData Stripe App. DigiData uses encrypted OAuth tokens per tenant to read the account profile, balances, customers, products, prices, Payment Intents, charges, refunds, disputes, invoices, credit notes, subscriptions, balance transactions and payouts. Amounts remain integer minor units with their original currency. The connector is isolated from the Stripe configuration DigiData uses for its own subscription billing.

Connecting Stripe to Power BI in short
The Stripe connector is available and synchronizes supported tables such as Account and Balances, Customers, Products and Prices, Payment Intents, Charges and Refunds and Disputes. DigiData offers these source records via OData for Power BI and Excel and via CSV for separate exports. The connector only supplies the entities listed on this page; source permissions, the source API, and your sync schedule determine which records and updates are available. You set up relationships, calculations and dashboards in the reporting tool.

Frequently asked questions
Questions about the Stripe integration
How do I connect Stripe to Power BI?
With DigiData you automatically synchronize Stripe data to an OData feed. In Power BI Desktop, choose 'Get Data', select OData feed and paste the DigiData URL. You can then load, combine and refresh the tables without building a Stripe API connection yourself.
How often is Stripe data refreshed?
DigiData synchronizes Stripe according to your integration schedule. The exact frequency and availability of new records depend on your settings and the source API.
What does the Stripe connection cost?
DigiData charges platform costs plus an amount per active integration. There are no start-up costs and you can test for 14 days for free. View the current price on the prices page.
Does this connector use DigiData's Stripe account?
No. Each tenant authorizes its own Stripe account. The data connector's OAuth tokens, API calls, tables and webhooks are isolated from DigiData billing.
Does testing with Stripe cost money?
Stripe test mode and general sandboxes process simulated data and move no real money. Normal Stripe transaction fees apply only to real live-mode payments.
