About DigiData
DigiData is a data platform for small and medium-sized businesses. We connect your accounting, CRM, project administration and other business software, bring that data together in one reliable place and make it usable for an AI agent, dashboards, automations, Power BI and Excel.
Why DigiData exists
DigiData started in 2025 from a practical problem. Founder Auke Westra was responsible for his clients' data and reporting, but depended on integrations built by other software vendors. When an integration stopped working, a data format changed or a security setting blocked the data, the client looked to him, even though he could not always fix it himself.
To have real control over what happens under the hood, Auke began building an in-house data platform together with his team. Today his clients run entirely on that foundation: data from different systems comes together in one place, with clear definitions and fixed calculation logic.
We maintain a clear boundary between source data and business interpretation. DigiData delivers synchronized tables and technical status. Data relationships, measures, KPI definitions, and executive decisions remain in the hands of the organization that knows the numbers.
AI starts with good data
Many businesses want to use AI on their own company data. But before an AI agent answers questions, you need to know the data is right. What counts as revenue? Which orders are included? How is margin calculated? Which source is leading? Without those agreements, AI can give a very convincing wrong answer.
Once that foundation is in place, AI becomes genuinely useful: flagging exceptions automatically, running analyses across several systems and bringing information to employees at the moment it matters.
- AI agent: questions about revenue, margins and projects, answered with controlled calculations on your own data.
- Dashboards: AI dashboards on your own business data, with drilldowns and a presentation mode for TV screens.
- Automations: reports and KPI alerts by email, on a fixed schedule or after a completed synchronization.
- Power BI and Excel: the same tables via OData and CSV for your own reports.
- MCP for ChatGPT and Claude: read-only access to selected tables from your own AI assistant.
- Integrations: accounting, CRM, project administration, HR, e-commerce and retail.
Our working method
First understand the source
We record which source entities, rights, refresh and restrictions apply per connector. Only the tables on the integration page are considered publicly supported.
Keep claims verifiable
We do not publish made-up benchmarks, certifications or ratings. Product claims are linked to visible effects, official supplier documentation or clearly stated practical experience.
Validate results
A link is only useful when records, periods, keys and totals have been compared with the source system. The customer retains ownership of report definitions and business interpretation.
Product and engineering
DigiData builds its synchronization engine, OData feeds, dashboard templates, and AI connectors in-house. Questions about supported sources, missing entities, or data validation are handled directly by the engineering team that manages the connectors and documentation.
Content and expertise
Our technical knowledge base is authored and maintained by founder Auke Westra and the DigiData engineering team. Articles clearly state publication and update dates, citing official documentation from Microsoft, software vendors, and protocol working groups.
