The reason
Why connect Google Analytics 4 to DigiData?
Connect the Google account that has read access to your GA4 property and select that property in DigiData. The connector only requests the analytics.readonly scope and syncs daily traffic and user acquisition, landing pages, pages and screens, events, ecommerce items, technology, and geography. DigiData encrypts OAuth tokens per tenant, checks dimension and metric compatibility, and refreshes a rolling period so late-processed GA4 data is updated.

Frequently asked questions
Questions about the Google Analytics 4 integration
How do I connect Google Analytics 4 to Power BI?
With DigiData you automatically synchronize Google Analytics 4 data to an OData feed. In Power BI Desktop, choose 'Get Data', select OData feed and paste the DigiData URL. You can then load, combine and refresh the tables without building a Google Analytics 4 API connection yourself.
How often is Google Analytics 4 data refreshed?
DigiData synchronizes Google Analytics 4 according to your integration schedule. The exact frequency and availability of new records depend on your settings and the source API.
What does the Google Analytics 4 connection cost?
DigiData charges platform costs plus an amount per active integration. There are no start-up costs and you can test for 14 days for free. View the current price on the prices page.
Which Google access does DigiData request?
DigiData requests analytics.readonly only. You connect a Google account with read access and then explicitly choose one GA4 property. DigiData does not request permission to change Analytics settings or data.
Why can numbers differ from the GA4 interface?
Google may apply thresholding, sampling, or an '(other)' row and may recalculate recent data. DigiData stores the relevant quality fields and refreshes a rolling period. Compare the same dimensions, metrics, dates, and property settings.
Does the GA4 API connection cost extra?
Google does not publish separate usage charges for the Google Analytics Admin API or Data API, although API quotas apply. DigiData's normal integration price still applies.
